A WAY OF LIFE
Over the years dachshunds have eked their way into every aspect of our lives and completely changing the trajectory for the better. They are in our work, in our hearts, and of course in our bed at night.
For us Long Long Ranch represents a way of life with an ebb and flow all it's own, and we get to be joyfully along for the ride. From the promise of new meeps to sharing the life and times of our charismatic weens, we are absolutely in love with this home that we all are creating together.

ABOUT LONG LONG RANCH

THE CREST
To the North is a symbol which represents the sun. Giver of warmth, light, life, and after a good sunbathing the source of all dachshund's power.
To the East, a sock which speaks of the breed's comedy and playfulness.
To the South, the alchemical symbol for creation. Representing new life and adventures.
To the West, a tree. Symbol of stability and security, but also of the Ranch's connection to nature and rural life.
In honour of the dachshund's origin as a fierce hunter our crest is framed by both a dachshund and a badger. Together they represent balance, and encourage us embrace our challenges.
AUDENTES FORTUNA IUVA
Our motto here on Long Long Ranch, is audentes fortuna iuva, which means:"fortune favours the bold."a Latin proverb from Vergil.
There's nothing that can stand in a dachshund's way after they set their stubborn little minds to it. From the food in your hand, to avoiding the outdoors when it's raining, the dachshund's bold and clever spirit will find a way. Their tenacity and perseverance in the face of adversity inspires us to chase after our own dreams with a similar cadence.
